From 10 to 11 March 2021, IT Park hosted educational trainings for regional representatives of IT Park.
The purpose of the two-day training was to improve the qualifications of regional directors of IT Centers and managers of regional branches of IT Park, gain additional knowledge, experience, as well as discuss various issues related to the development of the IT sector in the regions of Uzbekistan.
Responsible employees of IT Park, headed by the director of the organization Farhod Ibragimov, also took an active part in these events. Thus, for two days they acted as speakers of trainings, in which, together with the training participants, they covered and revealed such topics as: accounting and reporting, international relations, the One Million Uzbek Coders project, HR management, residency in IT Park , development of a startup ecosystem and much more.
“We have been waiting for this training for a long time and have long wanted to come to the republican office of IT Park, to see how all this is happening in practice. We got tremendous motivation. Thanks to the organizers of these trainings, we had the opportunity to get to know everyone personally, to see all the team members, to learn useful things from each other. You can learn a lot from colleagues and exchange experiences. We express our deep gratitude to everyone who organized this. During the trainings, I wrote down all the ideas that came to my mind. And the first thing that came to my mind was to interest as many young people as possible in the IT sector. I already had this experience. At IT Park in Jizzakh, we attracted young people who were novice SMM managers. We gave them premises free. Since many people visited us, we could find clients for them, and now they already receive about $ 1,000 a month. They are only 18-19 years old. Now we are developing a plan, after which more such young and talented people could come to IT Park, find their niche and start their own business. My goal is more business, more talented people, and then development will begin. IT entrepreneurship is one of the most popular niches in 2021 and in the 21st century as a whole,” shared Nazira Mukhitdinova, regional director of IT Centers in Jizzakh.
It is also worth noting that in order to synchronize with government organizations, not only IT Park employees, but also representatives of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part as speakers, who discussed with the training participants issues of educational processes, the opening of new IT Centers in the regions, as well as the prospects for robotics, e-sports, mutual cooperation and teamwork.
“The trainings organized by IT Park really created an excellent opportunity for us to study in detail the projects that we need to implement in our region, as well as learn the best practices of other regions. Returning to the Namangan region, we identified as a priority task the popularization of this advanced experience, increasing the potential of young people and expanding the number of our residents,” said the regional director of IT Centers in the Namangan region, Muhammadali Ubaydullaev.
Participants of the trainings, among other things, passed special psychological tests, as a result of which their personality types were determined for a more complete understanding of their inner "I".
“When I learned that all regional directors of IT Centers are being assembled in Tashkent, I was delighted. Seeing all this on a website or remotely and seeing everything live with your own eyes are different sensations. The two-day seminars were beneficial for us; everything was very rich and fruitful. We discussed many points in our activity, including problems. At some points, we found common ground, like-minded people, at some moments we solved problems, came to a compromise and for ourselves identified ways of solving urgent problems, as well as concrete plans in stages. The most important thought that came after these two-day seminars is to work on yourself even more. First, the leader must be demanding of himself, he must meet all the requirements. After leaving home, I will arrange a Zoom-call with all the managers of IT Centers in the districts, outline the priorities, tell you what projects are being carried out by the republican office of IT Park, what needs to be done for this, what decisions to make, how to involve new talented youth in our projects, in including training in IT specialties and how to conduct activities for fruitful work and the development of IT infrastructure in the region as a whole,” said the regional director of IT Centers in the Republic of Karakalpakstan Madier Elmuratov.
We strive to preserve and promote the values and mission of IT Park in the regions of the country. From the very beginning, IT Park began to actively work with the regions of Uzbekistan in order to raise the level of development of information technologies in the regions to a new level, thanks to which everyone, and especially young people, could easily learn IT skills, create and implement a startup projects, to work as IT specialists not only in the local, but also foreign markets, in general, to feel a favorable and healthy ecosystem of startups and information technologies in the regions where they live.
“I have received tremendous strength from the past trainings. We received a lot of information that we need in order for us to work in the future and work out the shortcomings. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to those who organized this event. We were pleased with the trainings. I believe that such events will contribute to the further development of our work activities and work in the field. Tomorrow, after a trip to my area, I will share my knowledge with each IT Center and pass on the experience gained. We try to work together, transferring our knowledge to the directors of IT Centers on the ground,” said Sherzod Yusupov, regional director of IT Centers in the Samarkand region.
For reference:
To date, 6 branches of IT Park are actively operating in Uzbekistan in the regions, namely: in Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, Jizzakh, Syrdarya and Andijan.
