The Digital Leadership Forum, held in Tashkent from July 7 to 9 with the active support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park, presented a unique platform for the largest IT companies in the BPO field to exchange experiences and establish partnerships.
Within the framework of the forum, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan held a number of meetings. So, on July 9, negotiations were held with the Executive Editor of Unido Digital Media Lauren Moss (Colombia).
The prospects for cooperation in the field of BPO (business process outsourcing), as well as the development of a business plan and strategy for the successful activities of BPO in Uzbekistan were actively discussed at the meeting.
The guest showed great interest in the possibilities of business process outsourcing in Uzbekistan, based on a number of its advantages. So, she noted the availability of skilled labor, progressive digital infrastructure and support from the government.
“It is amazing that Uzbekistan started almost from scratch in the IT industry. I see that in the last 7-8 years it has been rapidly developing and becoming a leader in the region. Now, in order to develop the BPO potential, the country has legislation that meets international standards, developed modern infrastructure, tax and customs benefits, and is also actively developing education in the field of IT and related fields.

You have huge potential, especially with the younger generation who are well versed in the digital world. It is important to keep moving forward in the chosen path and use your potential”.
Lauren Moss stressed that Uzbekistan is an ideal place to start a business, where everyone can realize their potential jointly with the company. She expressed confidence in the high potential of local talents, which significantly contribute to the development of the business sector.
The meeting allowed to identify key areas of BPO development in Uzbekistan, identify potential partners and develop a strategy for successful cooperation. In general, the participants came to the conclusion that Uzbekistan has all the necessary factors to become a leader in the field of BPO and achieve high results in this area.
