Within the framework of cooperation between IT Park, the OSCE and Uzum, the ShE-commerce project was launched, providing free e-commerce courses for women in the Surkhandarya region. The initiative aims to provide earning opportunities for young women and self-employed individuals.
The training took place from August 1st to September 29th in Termez. A total of 156 women were selected to participate in the program. During the first stage of training, they acquired computer literacy skills, including working with MS Office applications.
In the second stage, starting from August 18th, participants deepened their knowledge in IT tools for e-commerce and digital marketing, and worked with Uzbekistan’s marketplaces using specific examples.
They practiced creating business plans, market analysis, risk identification, and developing strategies to manage them. There were also creative tasks in the field of marketing, such as creating attractive photo cards and effective product descriptions.
Finally, on September 29th, at the Termez branch of IT Park, participants who completed the program were ceremoniously awarded certificates. Representatives from the OSCE in Uzbekistan, IT Park, and Uzum attended the event.
