IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Jahongir Kagirov, Director of the Export Development Department, held a strategic meeting with representatives of the South Korean company HUCORP, headed by Executive Director Kim Sung Ki. During the meeting, HUCORP submitted its application for IT Park residency and confirmed plans to significantly expand its local workforce.
HUCORP is an IT company specializing in the development of educational content and digital solutions. In 2024, the company recorded a turnover of $60 million and employs over 1,200 professionals.
During the meeting, HUCORP submitted an application for member status of IT Park, reflecting the company’s long-term strategic vision for expanding its operations in the region. According to Kim Sung Ki, the company has already entered an active phase of talent acquisition in Uzbekistan, with the aim of preparing a team of professionals to deliver outsourced services for the South Korean market.
Discussions also covered the opportunities for deepening cooperation with IT Park through joint projects and educational initiatives on a regional scale.
This partnership was facilitated by the efforts of IT Park Uzbekistan’s representative office in Seoul, which continues to play a pivotal role in attracting Korean companies and promoting Uzbekistan as a reliable IT partner in East Asia.
HUCORP’s entry into Uzbekistan demonstrates the country’s growing appeal as a regional hub for education and technology. The engagement of such companies not only strengthens the IT Park ecosystem but also creates new opportunities for local talent and the development digital content.
