Teleperformance Considers Uzbekistan for German-Speaking Call Center

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan held negotiations with Teleperformance, a global leader in customer experience management, to explore the establishment of a back-office operation in Uzbekistan.

Teleperformance, operating in over 80 countries with an annual turnover of $9 billion, is currently evaluating the feasibility of establishing an operational center in Uzbekistan with a specific focus on German-speaking professionals.

Key Discussion PointsDuring the meeting, IT Park presented the key advantages of conducting business in the country, including the country's talent pool and the availability of German-speaking specialists.  Teleperformance showed particular interest in the incentives offered to IT Park members, such as 0% corporate income tax and simplified procedures for business registration, the Zero Risk program as a model for market entry, as well as Uzbekistan’s potential to serve as a hub for multilingual support services.

As a next step, Teleperformance will carry out an internal assessment and alignment with its HR department, followed by interviews with candidates, with the involvement of the company’s Head of HR.

The engagement with Teleperformance reflects the growing appeal of Uzbekistan as a destination for global outsourcing operations. The country’s combination of skilled professionals, favorable business conditions, and multilingual environment creates compelling opportunities for the establishment of international customer support centers.
