The IT Park team entered the Highest Republican Mini-football League!

May 19, 2023, at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, the final of the First League "Cup of Communications Sphere-2023" in mini-football was held. The teams of IT Park Uzbekistan and the branch of Uzbektelecom "Telecommunication Transport Network" (TTT) fought in it.

The grandiose tournament gathered many fans and sports enthusiasts, including representatives of various companies and organizations associated with the ICT industry.

The IT Park team was presented by:

Sultanov Khumoyun - Chief Manager for Improving the Quality of Education as a Team Captain;

Mirkhashimov Bakhodir - Head of the Department of Affairs as a Goalkeeper;

Azamat Juraev - Chief Digital Transformation Development Manager as a Forward;

Yangiev Baezbek - Leading Accountant as a Forward;

Abdullaev Shohruh - Leading Accountant as a Forward;

Juraev Azizbek - Education manager as a Defender;

Miedinov Ummet - Driver of a car as a Midfielder;

Khamraev Abduvokhid - Leading Accountant as a Midfielder;

Bakhriddinov Nizomiddin - Legal consultant as a Midfielder.

In the first half of the Communications Sphere Cup-2023, the teams did not score goals. In the second half, the situation changed - the captain of the IT Park team Sultanov Humoyun managed to score the first goal against the opponent. After 8 minutes, a new blow from Sultanov thundered and the score became 2:0 in favor of IT Park.

However, the opponents also did not stand still and were able to score their first goal from a free kick. Further, during a fierce confrontation, the TTT team scored their second goal and the score was 2:2. After two goals conceded, IT Park forward Juraev Azamat managed to score the third goal and return the advantage to his team, but it did not last long - the TTT team also scored their third goal from a free kick.

The main time of the match ended with the score 3:3. The winner was to be determined in a penalty shoot-out. According to the results of the penalty kick, the team of the branch of Uzbektelecom "Telecommunication transport network" won with a score of 3:1.

 

The IT Park team performed at a high level in the tournament and took an honorable second place. Having won a ticket to the Higher Republican League, the finalists were awarded a cup, a medal and memorable gifts.
