On October 19, 2020, the main office of IT Center management and the new IT Academy opened its doors to all people interested in IT.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the IT Park, IT Academy, IT Centers, and mentors and IT experts.
The main office of IT Center management is situated in the city center, in “O‘zbekiston pochtasi” JSC, next to the Ucell office. The IT Academy is located on the first floor of the same building.
The main office of IT Centers will manage all internal and external processes in branches of IT Centers throughout the country.
Also, the main office will host a mobile robotics lab equipped with modern 3D printers, Arduino kits, LEGO Mindstorm kits, and Studica kits, as well as a Bootcamp for the IT Park cybersport team, where players will prepare for various local and international Cyberport championships and develop their skills.
It is mentioned that in IT Centers, one can study such specialties as:
- Computer literacy;
- In-depth work with MS Office;
- Web programming languages;
- Basics of graphics and design;
- Creating mobile apps;
- The Python programming language;
- Mobile robotics based on Arduino and LEGO Mindstorms;
- Cybersport: CS: GO, Dota2, FIFA20.
As for the IT Academy, which is located on the floor above the office of IT Centers, there will be offline programming courses for adults and children.
The new block format of offline courses of the IT Academy includes three separate blocks (from the basics to professional programming), each of which is dedicated to studying individual technologies. Block 1 is the basics of programming (HTML and CSS, which lasts two months). Then students choose the direction: Frontend or Backend development. The 2nd unit includes the study of programming languages - JavaScript and Python. The third block consists of a professional programming Framework, React + Redux, or Python Django + SQL.
The format is suitable for both beginners and those who already have some knowledge of programming and want to expand their knowledge and skills. Based on their understanding, students can start from the first block or join any of the following blocks. Teachers of the IT Academy are practicing programmers with immense experience and expertise.
Classes are held in groups of up to 10 people in specially equipped rooms. They also have all the necessary conditions for comfortable learning: modern computers, air conditioning, uninterrupted power supply, and much more. Classes last for 1.5 hours, three times a week.
