The President speaks with young programmers

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Public Services Center of the city of Bukhara and the local branch of the IT Park.|

More than 130 types of public services are provided in the center on the principle of “one stop shop”. In addition, a regional administration of the Public Services Agency, the People’s Reception, the Reception for considering appeals from entrepreneurs, the registry office, and a notary office are emplaced on the building. There is a book corner in the waiting room.

The head of state gave instructions on reducing the cost of public services, organizing mobile and remote services for the inhabitants of remote areas.

The clinic for the rehabilitation and privatization of enterprises are also present, which supplies financial and legal advice as well as information service.

The Bukhara branch of the IT Park is located on the second floor. In fact, this branch has created all the necessary conditions for both students as well as freelancers and programmers. At first, they immerse the schoolchildren into the field of information technology through games. Afterwards, they are taught and trained to work on projects. This center has brought young robotics specialists, web designers and professional programmers together.

Having immensely appreciated the potential of Bukhara youth, the President highlighted the importance of the IT sphere for the development of our country.

- Bukhara has been the center of science for a long time. And currently, there are a lot of educated and ambitious youth. It is necessary to create a Bukhara brand in the IT field. Bukhara has everything for this - conditions, resources, intelligence, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The head of state had a conversation with Saidravshan Shokirov, a 25-year-old founder of Monday LABS, and Shakhrullo Tukhsanov, a programmer working in collaboration with international IT companies and other youth.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions on providing young programmers with orders on social and economic problems, creating software products that save money, energy and time.

A modern building for the IT Park is being built in the Bukhara City complex. The complex will consist of buildings with 9 and 12 floors, and include a hotel, restaurant, coworking center, offices and gyms. More than 700 jobs will be created.
