On June 27, a delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, during their visit to China, held discussions with the Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association, which encompasses the largest multimedia companies in China.
The Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association is a non-profit organization that includes over 500 enterprises across various multimedia fields, including cinema, television, animation, the gaming industry, and more. SMIA comprises several subdivisions, including the Shanghai Game Developers Association (SGDA), the Shanghai Multimedia Exhibition Committee (SMEC), and the Shanghai Digital Media Outsourcing Alliance (SDMOA).
During the meeting, representatives from IT Park presented the rapidly growing market of Uzbekistan to the heads of SMIA, highlighting the country's economic development and unique business climate, which ensures the dynamic progress of the digital industry. The SMIA representatives expressed particular interest in the state support programs aimed at unveiling the outsourcing potential of Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, special attention was given to Uzbekistan's human capital, which boasts a significant number of young artists, animators, directors, and camera operators.
This meeting opens new avenues for establishing partnerships in the multimedia industry and increasing the presence of Chinese companies in Uzbekistan's creative sector. Moreover, the exchange of experience and advanced technologies will not only bolster Uzbekistan's position in the global market but also significantly enhance the skills of local specialists.
