From October 24th to 27th, Uzbekistan will host the most significant event in the field of Information and Communication Technologies — ICTWEEK UZBEKISTAN 2023. For the past 19 years, this event has traditionally brought together a series of specialized activities into a cohesive format.
The primary objective of ICTWEEK is to create a platform for exchanging experiences and to showcasing the latest achievements in modern technology and innovations. It also serves as an excellent opportunity to highlight the attractiveness of Uzbekistanʼs IT market to foreign investors.
On the first day of the forum, October 24th, a press conference dedicated to the opening of ICTWEEK will be held.
Additionally, on this day, the Startup Summit will take place, with the aim of acquainting guests with Uzbekistanʼs startup ecosystem, the best startups, investors, and innovative companies in the region. The event will feature presentations by invited experts from abroad. The concluding stage of the event will be B2B meetings between international venture funds and local startups, creating favorable conditions for future investments and collaborations.
The official opening ceremony of ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2023 is scheduled for the second day of the event, on October 25th. Following welcoming remarks and speeches by representatives of international organizations, official announcements and presentations will commence. During the ICT WEEK presentations will be made on artificial intelligence “Muxlisa”; the new version of my.gov.uz; the Aloqa Bank student card; the Face ID payment system, and other innovations.
On the same day, the summit “Empowering Women in IT: Leading the Digital Revolution” will take place, aimed at establishing collaboration between “Techno Women Kazakhstan” and the Association of IT Education, as well as the Central Asian summit “IPv6 Enhanced.”
The third day of ICTWEEK will be marked by the “Outsourcing BPO in Uzbekistan” forum, featuring presentations by foreign experts, and the inauguration of ICT EXPO – 2023.
One of the major events of this day will be the “Uzbekistan-Korea ICT Business Partnership” forum, which will be hosted on October 26th by IT Park in collaboration with Korean partners KOICA, NIPA, UNIDO Korea, and KOIIA.
More than 20 Korean IT companies will participate in this event. The forum will provide local IT companies with the opportunity to establish contracts and initiate new projects in collaboration with Korean partners.

In the National Library hall, another long-awaited event will take place — the IT Education Forum, featuring successful IT influencers. Within the event, award ceremonies will be held to honor the winners of three competitions: ICPC, the “President Tech Award” hackathon, and the TOP-5 Young Talents competition.
On the concluding day of ICTWeek, October 27th, a forum dedicated to investment opportunities and public-private partnerships in Uzbekistanʼs IT sector will be conducted, along with B2B sessions between the ministry and organizations.
On the same day, guests can visit the Job and Education Fair as part of ICT Expo.
The closing ceremony of ICTWeek Uzbekistan 2023 will conclude with cultural events and the presentation of the ICT Week Award winners.
