Xsolla Explores Partnership Opportunities in Uzbekistan

Xsolla, a leading global provider of business solutions tailored to the video game industry, is exploring the potential to establish a partnership with the Uzbek GameDev market following its previous meeting during the Global Business Services Forum. During a meeting with representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan led by Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, discussions centered around the possibility of establishing a Game Development Academy in Uzbekistan to train local talent and support the region's growing gaming industry.

The meeting featured Xsolla’s Head of Global Strategic Partnerships & Government Relations, Rytis Joseph Jan, and Senior Vice President for Business Development in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Anatoly Strutinsky.

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Sherman Oaks, California, Xsolla has become a key player in the video game industry, providing developers and publishers with the tools they need to fund, launch, and monetize games across multiple platforms. The company’s annual revenue exceeds $100 million, and it employs over 490 specialists worldwide.

With Uzbekistan’s growing IT sector and skilled workforce, Xsolla is interested in leveraging the country's capabilities to support its global operations. The company is also considering various government support programs that could facilitate its entry into the Uzbek market, including Zero Risk initiatives to encourage foreign investment. Establishing an academy in Uzbekistan would provide significant benefits to the local economy, creating jobs and elevating the skill level of IT professionals in the country.

During the discussions, both sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize their cooperation and explore future opportunities.

By training and employing local talent, Xsolla aims to further its mission of supporting game developers worldwide while contributing to the growth of Uzbekistan’s burgeoning tech industry.
