A legal entity registered in Uzbekistan may become a resident of IT-Park, particularly, in order for a foreign company to become a resident of IT-Park, you need to register as a legal entity in Uzbekistan.
3. Can an individual entrepreneur become a resident of IT-Park?
No, it can`t, because an individual entrepreneur is an individual (without the formation of a legal entity). Only legal entities can be residents of IT-Park/
4. Can a legal entity registered in another area become a resident of IT Park?
Yes, it can. Legal entities, regardless of their place of state registration throughout Uzbekistan, can become residents of IT-Park.
5. How to apply for IT-Park residency?
To obtain the status of resident of IT-Park, you need to submit an application to the IT-Park Directorate, attaching a constituent document and a business plan. The application can be submitted via e-mail, website, transmitted via postal office or to be delivered to the office of IT-Park.
6. How long does the process of considering an application and making a decision take?
The IT-Park Directorate processes documents within 15 business days from the date of their submission.
7. Is it permitted to be a resident IT-Park if the CCEA code assigned to a legal entity differs from the permitted activities?
Unfortunately, it is not permitted. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 15, 2019 No. 589 “On measures for organizing the activities of the Technological Park of software products and information technologies”, residents of IT Park should carry out exclusively the types of activities that were previously mentioned in the answer to the first question.
8. What could be the reason for refusal to register a legal entity as a resident of IT-Park?

9. Is it possible to re-apply for the status of resident of IT-Park after refusal of registration?
Yes, you can. In case of elimination of the reasons for refusal, reconsideration of the application and other documents is carried out in the same manner as when applying for the first time.
10. What do you advise when writing a business plan?
The business plan should give a complete picture of the legal entity, the services provided, the projects, the main financial indicators, the organizational structure and reflect the goals.
It is recommended to provide in the business plan all the requested data in detail, but succinctly. Information should be relevant, structured, interconnected and justified.

The procedure for registering legal entities as a resident of IT-Park is regulated by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 15, 2019 No. 589 “On measures for organizing the activities of the Technological Park of software products and information technologies”.
