A meeting was held with UAE delegation at IT Park

[November 21, 2019] Today, a United Arab Emirates delegation led by the Minister for Government and Future Affairs, Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Gergawi, visited the IT Park.

Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov, the Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, the First Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Umarov, as well as representatives of IT Park attended the meeting.

A site tour in the first IT Park in Uzbekistan was arranged during the visit, the guests got acquainted with startup projects and residents of the Technopark. Also, presentation about the future project related to the IT Park infrastructure was demonstrated to the UAE guests.

Minister Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Gergawi paid special attention to the startup team of the Agromart project. “Agromart” is a portal that specializes in IT-solutions for high-quality consultation of farmers in rural areas.

Mr. al-Gergavi noted this is an incredibly useful server for Uzbek farmers in particular, as well as for the development of the agricultural industry of Uzbekistan as a whole.
