An IT Park branch opened in Navoi

On March 5 of this year, the grand opening of a new branch of IT Park took place in Navoi. The ceremony was attended by Deputy hokim of the Navoi region Erkin Kamolov, hokim of the city of Navoi Dilmurod Ergashev and Deputy General Director of IT Park Fayzulla Aripjanov.

The IT Park branch in Navoi is a modern three-story building equipped with everything necessary for work and training in the field of information technology. It includes classrooms, a seminar room, a coworking area, a meeting room with IT companies and office space for residents.

It is important to note that all IT Park branch buildings operate round the clock, are provided with uninterrupted power supply, high-speed Internet, air conditioning systems, 24-hour security and other necessary amenities for comfortable work.

It is noteworthy that by the end of 2022, only 18 companies were residents of IT Park in the region, and their export volume was $20 thousand. However, by the end of 2023, these numbers increased significantly: the number of resident companies grew to 32, and the volume of export services they provided exceeded $1 million. This indicates the successful development of the IT industry in the region and the effectiveness of the IT Park in Navoi.

Among the residents of the branch are the companies “Softex” (software production), “IT Dataware” (export of IT services), “Xiradmand Zarafshon” (export of remote services), as well as the companies “Sensorika” and “Susys-Academy”, engaged in IT education.

In addition, the deputy hokim of the Navoi region Erkin Kamolov, the hokim of the city of Navoi Dilmurod Ergashev and IT Park residents from the Navoi region were told about IT Park programs focused on supporting local companies in entering the international market and attracting foreign companies to Uzbekistan.

In particular, information was given about the Zero Risk programs (a program for foreign IT companies that want to enter the Uzbekistan market with minimal risks and costs), Local2Global (support for local companies in Uzbekistan when entering international markets in order to stimulate their export activities) and Regional Headquarters (providing subsidies to international service companies).

The opening of the IT Park branch in Navoi is intended to promote the development of information technology in the region and create favorable conditions for young people who want to engage in programming and IT projects.
