Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region welcomes a new IT school!

On April 2, 2022, as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 4851 from October 6, 2019, Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region welcomed a specialized IT school No. 2.

The opening ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Pekos Oleg Andreevich, Khokim of the Bostanlyk district Akhmedov Jurabek Ilhomovich and IT Park Deputy Director for Innovation Jakhongir Rajabov.

Unlike general education schools, specialized IT schools have introduced a curriculum with a focus on mathematics, English, computer science and mobile robotics.

In order to provide schoolchildren with comfortable conditions for teaching information technology, all the essential material-technical base and high-speed Internet are set up at the school. Well-qualified IT Center teachers of IT Park will lead professional programming and robotics clubs for schoolchildren.

By the end of the academic year, it is planned to start 85 specialized IT schools and bring their total number to 100 units in Uzbekistan.
