[January 5, 2019] in Presidential Academy of Public Administration under the President Office of Uzbekistan the training workshop with the participation of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, deputy mayors from regions and the city of Tashkent, districts and cities mayors continued.

Within the workshop scale, officials paid a visit to IT Park, where responsible employees conducted a tour and presentation, at which they introduced the guests to the dynamically developing activities of the organization.

The construction of IT Park branches in six regions of our country such as: Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Namangan, Gulistan, Nukus has been noted in particular.

Plus, on January 5, an open dialogue was held between the Minister of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Sadikov and the representatives of subordinate organizations of the ministry, that also being attended by the IT Park CEO, Farhod Ibragimov. The Minister made a report and discussed further ways of interaction, and also noted the need of regional development in the field of information technology.

In particular, he paid special attention to the President address to the Parliament, dedicated to the results of the main work implemented in 2019 and the priority areas of socio-economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2020.

The training workshop emphasized the urgent tasks of local city administration to accelerate the evolvement of the digital economy, the widespread adoption of digital technologies in all spheres of human activity, automation of production and management systems in the real sector of the economy.
