On February 29, 2020, IT Centers under IT Park is going to arrange a friendly match between two best Counter Strike teams of Uzbekistan - “Storm” versus “Arcred” in “Cougar game-club that is located in Tashkent.

The “Storm” was formed as a team in 2008. In 2009, it first participated in an international tournament - Central Asian Championship in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where it got its first gold. Today, “Storm” is a four-time Central Asian champion, 6 times participated in the European Championship held in Kiev, Ukraine, where it took twice 5-6 place and three times 10-12. Asian Championship participant that was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, 2011 (silver medals), four-time participant of the CIS Championships.

In 2011, first participated in the World Championship held in Busan, Korea, under the "Firenation" clan tag and achieved 5-6 places among the best teams of the world. The 16-time champion of Uzbekistan, from 2007 to 2012, not a single defeat in the republic contests. “Storm” suspended its activity in 2012 following the release of a game new version that was switched completely to online platforms and due to poor Internet.

In 2020, “Storm” not only resumed its job and started to take part in international tournaments, but also actively is contributing to the development of e-sports throughout Uzbekistan under the auspices of IT Park. In January 2020, the team already managed to win gold at the Championship of Uzbekistan. The Team members: CEKKA, Thomas, chrizm, fr0k, Nelsun.

“Arcred” started its activity in 2019, becoming the first funded eSports organization of its kind in Uzbekistan. Over the year, it was able to win 4 Championships of Uzbekistan. Currently, it is one of the best teams in Uzbekistan. The team members: DOZA, ISFAN666, searoud, TIMURKAtZjEEE, Ururur. Team coach: d0N1NjA.

The friendly match is expected to be broadcast by the countryʻs notable commentators and to be held in the Best-Of-Five format (bo5, up to three wins).
