Congratulations to Olimjon Mukhamadzhanovich Umarov on his appointment as Advisor to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan!

On May 27, 2020, the First Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Muhamadzhanovich Umarov was appointed Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Head of the Department for the Development of IT technologies, telecommunications and innovation.

Recall that Olimjon Muhamadzhanovich began his career in 2006 at the Center for the Development and Implementation of Computer and Information Technologies “UZINFOCOM”, in which he was the chief specialist, head of the Marketing and Analytics Group, and from June 2017 to May 2020 he was First Deputy Minister for development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In addition, the contribution of Olimjon Mukhamadzhanovich to the creation and development of the IT Park project in particular and the development of the IT sector of Uzbekistan as a whole is priceless. Under his strict guidance, a concept was developed for the IT Park projects and IT Centers that are created in each regional center, the “One Million Uzbek Coders” project, which provides an opportunity for everyone to learn IT specialities for free, and many other contests and projects to increase the interest of young people to IT areas.
