Delegation from Uzbekistan presented IT investment potential in Georgia

On July 17, a meeting was held with the Director-General of the Georgian state agency Enterprise Georgia, Mikhail Khidureli. The Uzbekistan delegation included Oleg Andreevich Pekos, the First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Anvar Rustamovich Mansurov, Deputy Director-General of the "Unified Integrator UZINFOCOM"; and Farukh Erkinov, Chief Manager at IT Park, responsible for export development.

During the meeting, the delegation familiarized themselves with the activities of Enterprise Georgia and also presented the export and investment potential of Uzbekistan's IT market.

Enterprise Georgia implements the "Invest in Georgia" project, aimed at attracting investments to Georgia, including cooperation with representatives of the media, influencers, bloggers, and other individuals.

IT Park can adopt the experience of Enterprise Georgia in creating investment attraction strategies, as well as attracting major BPO companies such as Concentrix, Evolution Gaming, Asseco, and Majorel.

Furthermore, the delegation learned about Georgia's economic policy strategy, export development services, and business support.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on Enterprise Georgia's visit to Uzbekistan in September of this year for experience exchange and the establishment of partnerships between Uzbek and Georgian companies.

Enterprise Georgia -  is a state agency under the Ministry of Economy of Georgia, responsible for promoting business growth, export, and investments. The organization advances investment projects in Georgia, including analyzing the country's economic opportunities, market access, and investment climate.
