Digital technology center opened in Margilan!

Within the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Fergana, a Digital technology center was opened in Margilan.

First of all, these centers serve the development of information technologies in Uzbekistan. All IT centers were created within the third initiative “Five initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” which is directed to increase in literacy of the population in use of computer technologies and also knowledge in the field of information technologies, programming, robotics and cybersport.

 

The total area of the new two-storied building of the Digital technology Сenter, located on B. Mashrab Street in Margilan, is 3,100 square meters.

With the help of the Center, students in grades 7-11 of secondary schools and young people interested in IT can work not only in IT Park in Fergana, but also among IT Park residents after graduation.

Subjects to be taught in the IT center:

Computer literacy;

In-depth work with MS Office;

Web programming languages;

Basics of graphics and design;

Creation of mobile applications;

Python programming language;

Arduino and LEGO Mindstorms based mobile robotics;

Also cybersport: CS: GO, Dota2, FIFA20.

In addition, the Digital technology Center, which has 120 jobs, also works to increase the level of knowledge of public servants and school teachers in the field of information technology.

In 2020-2021, it is planned to open 19 IT centers in Dangara, Baghdad, Rishtan, Kuvasoy districts and Kokand city. In 2020, an IT park branch will be opened in Fergana.

It should be mentioned that the management and specialists of the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as employees of enterprises and organizations in the field of IT, have made a significant contribution to the establishment of this center in Margilan.

In turn, the IT park invites all interested IT companies, firms, IT training centers and organizations to open their representative offices and start developing their activities in Fergana region. IT Park is ready to help all interested persons and IT companies in selection and training of personnel.

This Center will start operating after quarantine is over.
