Additionally, plans to increase the volume of exports of IT services to $1 million by 2026 and to $5 billion by 2030 were presented, and the importance of exporters in achieving these goals was emphasized.
During the meeting, the issue of training highly qualified personnel for exporters of IT Park companies was also discussed. All participants were introduced to the “IT-Park Talent” program, as well as its benefits. Representatives of the companies asked questions and made suggestions. All proposals were listened to and all questions were answered. Future cooperation was also discussed.
IT-Park Talents is a state subsidy program for educational centers whose graduates are employed by export companies. According to the program, the resident of IT Park registers his students through a special platform. Upon completion of the training, a resident can apply for a grant via the my.gov.uz portal. The amount of compensation is determined depending on the studentʼs monthly income.
We remind you that IT Park residents now have the right to provide English language training services with a focus on ICT terminology (IT English). At the same time, there is one condition – the total annual income of these residents from these activities should not exceed 40 percent of the total income of the company.
It is expected that the new decree will contribute to the development of youth knowledge of English and ICT terminology, and as a result, employees of national IT companies with good language skills will be able to increase their competitiveness in the international market and attract more customers, contributing to the development of exports of IT services in the country.
