Discussions on the expansion of cooperation in the field of digital transformation with the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies of Tajikistan

During his visit to Dushanbe, the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Khurshed Mirzo, Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the Director of the Agency provided detailed information on the measures being implemented in Tajikistan to develop the digital economy, transition public services to electronic formats, establish data exchange systems, and ensure information security. Furthermore, presentations were conducted showcasing Tajik digital solutions, platforms, and innovative programs, with demonstrations of their practical results.

The discussions also focused on prospects for the further expansion of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in digitalization, the implementation of joint projects, and the harmonization of the digital ecosystems of both countries.

Specifically, proposals were put forward to strengthen the integration of governmental information systems, facilitate digital data exchange between customs authorities, and implement a system for the rapid and secure exchange of information.
