On April 17, 2020, the quarter-final and semi-final laps of the “Adrenaline Open Cyber Cup - powered by IT PARK” tournament in CS: GO and FIFA20 were held.

To remind,8 teams passed to the qualifying round of CS: GO, and out these, 4 teams headed the semifinals:

ARCRED vs Fdnz eSports

Liberty vs Speedrunners-

And below teams managed to go the final:

ARCRED vs Liberty

As for the FIFA game, there were a total of 256 participants. After repeated matches, beautiful goals and sweaty hands from gamepads, the two strongest players in our FIFA20 tournament passed to the final.

Players passed to final:

Matekubov Dilshod

Solikhbaev Kahramon

We were also able to contact professional commentators and independent e-sports experts to find out their personal opinion about the participants, their chances to win and their favorites in this tournament.

And here is what we had:

1. Independent expert from DamageUz and uzCast - Nurlan (Wakizashi)

“I think, ARCRED will win tomorrow at the CS: GO tournament. These guys have very abundant experience playing both online and in LAN tournaments. Quite often I was involved to comment on matches where they were playing. The advantage of this team is the ability to quickly make innovative decisions during the game and the ability to impose their game from the first rounds. But as a commentator, I wish good luck to both final teams, because, like all viewers, I want to see the “fail play”.

As for my expectations from this contest... Frankly, I expected a high-quality and professional approach to its organization, and in most the tournament was arranged at a good level. For example, the holding of a “home” tournament in lockdown time turned out very unexpected and at the same time, it was spectacular. Now, when all kinds of sports are going through hard times all over the world, e-sports is growing in all respects, people are starting to get acquainted with it and understand that eSport, as we call it, is in no way inferior to other sports in terms of interest and entertainment. Did my expectations come true? Yes, it was in high level even than I imagined: a fatty prize pool, good arrangement, professional broadcasts with commentators, I thank IT Park and Adrenaline Rush for this wonderful event!

In general, initially I supported STORMIX, but unfortunately, the guys could not go beyond the quarter finals. I wish good luck and wait for them in a new shape next season ”

2. Asian Champion in FIFA 13, Commentator of FIFA and CS: GO - Pavel Saprykin

“In the CS: GO discipline, the obvious favorite is Arcred. These guys fit to the status of the strongest team in our country currently. For several months they have made great progress, which once again proves the effectiveness of the professional training process.

In the FIFA discipline, a very serious fight is expected in the final. Kahramon and Dilshod, both are very skilled and strong players, so it will be extremely difficult to foretell the outcome of this battle. First of all, I would like to see beautiful football and fascinating goals, the audience misses the real football, we must satisfy this “hunger” on the digital field.

It was a pleasant surprise for me, especially during this raging time for all of us. I can’t say that I initially laid some expectations, but I am pleased with the level of organization and its coverage in state media. The very fact of live broadcasts on Football TV channel is unprecedented and opens a new milestone in the history of national e-sports. I really hope that such tournaments and broadcasts will be held on an ongoing basis.

Regarding those for whom I was fan, I initially supported several CS: GO teams, each of those has a large number of my friends and familiars, so it is difficult to single out someone separately. But still, a great performance from Nikki and Thomas (Liberty team, if I’m not mistaken) didn’t leave anyone indifferent today, so I am very glad the “old school” showed the guys what a real “counter strike” is.

There were no surprises at FIFA, in my opinion, the semifinals had been pretty strong, I note Turdikulov Ilkhom, a very worthy result he made, I’m sure that he will give a decent fight in the match for the third place.”

3. Professional player in FIFA - Abdusapi Kayumov (Legend)

“First of all, I want to express my gratitude to IT Park and Adrenaline Rush for settling such a cool tournament. Tomorrow in the final of the FIFA game, Matekubov Dilshod will play against Solikhbaev Kahramona. Both are good rivals who know each other and have been playing FIFA20 for a long time. They studied each other very well, and I think the game will be very interesting. It seems to me that tomorrow these guys will show an equal fight. And who will win, we’ll see tomorrow.

What I tell on this event that it united everyone, guys got to know each other, made friends, playing against each other. A lot of ordinary viewers watched our broadcasts and learned what eSports is. Such tournaments are only beneficial for each of us, especially for young people.

All my expectations had come true. This tournament had a range of good and entertaining games. It was interesting to observe that some even congratulated me on the fact that the tournament was on the level, for me, the tournament is going surprisingly great. I am much satisfied.

I already had some background in arranging and assisting in such tournaments, however, the most important thing is this tournament gave me is experience. I hope, such tournaments to be organized more and more in future. Young people today felt pure adrenaline from this tournament!

If I tell my favorites, there were some and one of those guys reached the final, it’s Solikhboyev Kahramon!”

4. Tournament commentator on discipline CS: GO - Donier Nomozov (BATbKA)

“As a commentator, I can’t foretell or guess or give preference to any of them. But as a spectator, I would prefer Liberty over ARCRED. Why not ARCRED? Because a young team like ARCRED cannot grow without defeat. A team like ARCRED must be defeated. Defeats, as you know, make a person strong. And if a person becomes stronger, he will have less damage in the future. Well, as you know, experience is experience!

In principle, I could not expect anything from this tournament, since this is an online tournament and these kinds of contest are always held on the same principle. In other word, platform on which this or that tournament will be held is selected, based on the FaceIT standard, teams get registered and they play. In general, it went well, but, unfortunately, the fact that some servers were located in Moscow, Kazakhstan – made several inconveniences, for example, a big difference in ping. We can’t do anything here so that a person who, for example, with the high ping, gets the maximum by playing in our tournaments. First, low ping is a very important factor. The lower the ping, the better game is. The second factor is good internet and the third one is the location of the servers. If I am not mistaken, there are no servers in Uzbekistan at all, at least servers that support the FaceIT platform, and the Internet that we have is quite  weak as well. Plus, it should be borne in mind that now absolutely all citizens of Uzbekistan are at home and sometimes it happens the servers can be overloaded by a number Uzbek companies.

When a person plays in the Lan-tournament, he pays attention to his table, starts jerking mice, pressing on the keyboard, watching the size of the carpet and so on. If everything suits to him and he likes the conditions, accordingly, this reduces the risk of problems within the game. Such risk are as follows: the mouse does not work well, the carpet does not fly to the floor when you drag the mouse over it.

In an online tournament there are fewer deteriorating factors for the game, but they are much more serious, let me count some of them: ping, servers (the closer they are to each other, the better game we see), the stable Internet from our providers. Here is an example: today at the last match, a couple of players who lived on Chilanzar and Yunus-Abad had problems with the Internet and their ping was around 200, which is too bad. They could not play normally and thereby lost 1 round, and also left the game for about 20 minutes (As the providers did technical work).

Concerning all the factors that impede the normal game of participants, I can say that it was normal. As it is the first tournament that IT Park had arranged, and in the future, certainly, like all reasonable organizations, they will consider all the nuances when holding such events and somehow try to fix errors with servers and so on.

As a commentator, I had a lot of experience for myself, it was cool to comment on such wonderful matches within a couple of days (tomorrow, actually, the third day). Surely, the first day was a little dry, as weak teams came across against strong ones. Accordingly, competition was growing to pass the TOP. Say at least, my commenting level getting strong, my diligence longer within the games, if say, happened that one day I commented for one hour, and the next day I commented for a whole day. On the second day, we sat a little more than 8 hours and commented on the matches. In fact, I was a little tired and didn’t really have time even to eat (sighs sadly).

Initially, I was rooting for my team as you know as Nasaf Gaming. I thought on the first day I will participate in the tournament. I have own team in Karshi that I have gathered from former Counter Strike 1.6 players. I was hoping to at least play 2-3 matches for myself, for experience. As I have a small dream to become an e-sportsman in the future. However, I have already seriously taken up the job of a commentator and will try to go further and achieve my goal. Along with my guys, I also supported the STORMIX team, because there are very good people in like Secka, Gloommy, Nelson and other guys. I can have well talk with these three. I also want to single out one player who flew out of the tournament in 1/16 due to the fact that they had a very high ping and they could not play on Kazakhstan servers. They were forced to surrender during the match. And I’m talking about a player under the nickname SGX and it’s worth noting that this guy, despite his young age, shows good results, but unfortunately, he has problems with the Internet and other problems that guys who play online usually have. However, at Lan-tournaments, when a lot of players gather at a computer club and ping averages 5ms, this person is just a beast ”

5. Commentator of the tournament in the discipline of CS: GO - Sergey Shirkhojaev (Greedz0r)

“I honestly think the ARCRED will win in the final  as they are stronger, better and more likely to well trained and motivated, but I will support Liberty with my soul. Surely, not on the stream, there I will show professionalism and be completely neutral!

I held a lot of tournaments in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2007-2012 and there have always been problems of various sizes, which were very difficult to get rid of.

I expected a minimum delays from this tournament, high-level organization and stable broadcast process. And I think we managed to do all this together with IT Park.

"I was fan and always be rooting for my Storm team, the same one I once made!”
