On March 23, 2020, the first online pitch, in whose scope, the founders of startups had a chance to present their project in open online format to local and foreign venture investors, representatives of venture funds, as well as business angels, had been successfully held.

The list of startups made their first open online session is as follows:

1. Mammo Cancer AI (MedTech)

Mammo cancer allows to diagnose breast cancer using artificial intelligence. The project solves a number of problems, including making an accurate diagnosis, excluding the human factor in making a diagnosis, detecting cancer in the early stages.

2.Roboteach (EduTech)

Distance learning English language project. Includes a lot of lessons, tests, video files, available for download at PlayMarket.

3.Pereday (Logistics)

Pereday is a delivery service. It is set for entrepreneurs, online shoppers, migrant workers and travelers. The service provides a platform linking the customer who wants to send or receive the product / object and the traveler who will carry out the transportation and receive a reward for his job.

4.Girgitton (Food delivery)

Food delivery service. Allows to save time, see the order carrying out in real time; Fast delivery and search for nearby cafes and restaurants.

Within the session, the founders of startups enjoyed an assessment and feedback from investors.

In addition, a large number of questions were asked from start-ups, those made possible to more clearly cover controversial issues in respect to projects.

The audience was shaped by investors, AVIUz members: Astron, Sturgeon Capital, RB Asia, Altergate, Yellow Rocket venture funds, as well as a club of individual venture investors and numerous business angels.

To remind.  Open Online Pitch is a project of IT Park and the Venture Investment Association of Uzbekistan, that forward following conditions for participation:

Joining the project is free and open to all people.

Applications are accepted from startup teams from all regions of Uzbekistan.

Pitch sessions will be held in an open format on the ZOOM platform (you must install the application on a PC and / or smartphone), with further uploading to Youtube.

5 minutes for ppt + 10 minutes for Q/A session are allocated.

Investment Strategy:

Investment - all areas from EduTech, MedTech, SciTech to GameDev.

Average bill - depends on the stage of development, from 15 thousand USD (equivalent)

Investment format is collective one (co-investment) and others.

Share in the project - depends on the stage of development, up to 30%.

Project development stage is the pre-seed one (pre-seed) and higher.

The best pre-qualified startups will be invited to the closed online pitch sessions for further negotiations with investors.
