How was the Ideathon in Syrdarya region?

On March 18, 2022, Ideathon was held at the IT Park branch of Syrdarya region, organized by IT Park with the support of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Khokimiyat of Syrdarya region, the Agency for Youth Affairs, Gulistan State University and a branch of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.

Ideathon – an event that allows you to come up with an idea and develop it into a minimum viable product in just a day in order to create your own technology business in the future.

 Ideathon was attended by 25 projects in the following areas:

 – medicine;

 – energy;

 – agriculture;

 – construction;

 – education.

 As a result, the winners were:

 1st place: Alimp – a project to provide electricity through eco-stations to small nearby organizations, self-generating energy.

 2nd place: Java developers – a project in which users will be able to find work in Europe and Asia, as well as book airline tickets online.

 3rd place: Creator – a modern library system for uniting all libraries in the country, ensuring the safety of books and creating statistics.

 The winners received: for the first place – TV, the second – a tablet and the third – a smart watch.

 Such competitions allow young people to join the startup ecosystem and popularize it among talented and ambitious guys with promising ideas for startup projects.
