In the Incubation Center at Nukus branch of TUIT of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Demo Day was held as part of the incubation program

On March 2 this year, Demo Day was held at the Incubation Center at Nukus branch of TUIT, located in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as part of the incubation program for the founders of start-up projects.

The Incubation Program is a project aimed at developing local youth startups, which was launched by IT Park with the support of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Project Coordinator of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Nukus branch of the TUIT named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and the educational center for Edunomics.

The participants of the incubation program spent 2,5 months improving their skills with highly qualified specialists in the field of IT, entrepreneurship, marketing and other areas in order to develop the necessary skills for the successful implementation of their startups.

23 projects were trained on the program, as a result of which 3 most promising startup projects were identified on the demonstration day:

1. BILIM – a mobile app that teaches Russian and English with video tutorials.

2. BOOKIE – a platform for the sale of audio books in Nukus, where you can listen to popular works of Karakalpak literature.

3. MBAZAR – a platform for the purchase and sale of livestock and land raw materials.



As a result, Demo Day projects BILIM, BOOKIE and MBAZAR were awarded a certificate for 10,000,000 soums, of which 5,000,000 soums can be spent on the further development of their project, and the remaining 5,000,000 soums for training in the field of IT, as well as for all participants were awarded diplomas on completion of the program.
