Integration of one of the most popular IT platforms “code org” in Uzbekistan: how will it work?

The platform, which is the leading provider of computer science curricula in the US, Code.org, will be integrated into the curriculum of the “One Million Uzbek Coders” project.
What does it mean?

It means that the young generation of Uzbekistan and others who wish to enter into the IT sphere will be able to use the resources of the “Code.org” platform and learn one of the future specializations.
Leonardo Ortiz, the Vice President for International Cooperation at code.org, in his video message, officially announced that code.org will be actively involved in the activity of One Million Uzbek Coders project and will begin to reveal the potential of children, developing their creativity, logical and algorithmic thinking, problem solving and teamwork, and other essential skills in the modern world.

Furthermore, in his video message, he mentioned that by collaborating with IT Park, Dubai Future Foundation and others, it is possible to help improve educational content for teaching computer science to schoolchildren in Uzbekistan.

Leonardo Ortiz announced the official localization of the “Code.org” platform in Uzbekistan and the introduction of the Uzbek language in the Code.org curriculum on the basics of computer science, in all “Hours of code” lessons, and also in a series of educational videos which consist of more 200 hours of lessons for schoolchildren from 4 to 18 years old.

“I want to encourage all parents and teachers in Uzbekistan to study the content on the “Code.org” platform and start spreading this content among schoolchildren of all ages”, - added Leonardo Ortiz.
It is worth reminding that “Code.org” is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools. The vision of “Code.org” is that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science as part of their core education. Code.org is the leading provider of computer science curricula in the United States.
