IT-Center for advanced training of women and the younger generation will open in Uzbekistan

On April 28 at 10:30 a.m. IT-ACADEMY will host the opening ceremony of the IT-Center for Women and the Young Generation.

The event will be attended by the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Shermatov Sherzod Khotamovich, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, as well as ITU and ZTE companies.

The opening of the center will increase the level of digital literacy of women and youth in Uzbekistan and increase the level of use of ICT-services.  In addition, among the tasks of the new platform is to reduce the gender gap in technology, as well as stimulate the development of digital entrepreneurship and the transformation of the country's economic sectors.

At the event, guests will be able to learn about employment opportunities.  Among the invited speakers will be IT-activists from Uzbekistan.  They will tell how they came to the IT-field and what they are currently doing, as well as share their experience.
