In order to implement the third of the "Five Initiatives" of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which provides for the creation of conditions for the wide and effective use of computer technologies by the population and youth, attracting youth to entrepreneurship in the field of information technology, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the creation of conditions for wide and effective use of computer technologies by the population, and especially by young people.
So, on October 3, 2020, an IT Center was opened in the Amu Darya region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, equipped with all the necessary conditions for comfortable training in the professions of the future.
Representatives of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Director of IT Centers, Nodir Alibekov, took part in the opening ceremony of the IT Center.
This IT Center includes classrooms equipped with modern computers, as well as rooms for e-sports and mobile robotics.
In the IT Center, you can learn such subjects as:
- Computer literacy;
- Advanced work with MS Office;
- Web programming languages;
- Basics of graphics and design;
- Creation of mobile applications;
- Python programming language;
- Mobile robotics based on Arduino and LEGO Mindstorms;
- As well as esports: CS: GO, Dota2, FIFA20.

To date, 50 IT Centers have already been opened in the country. By the end of 2021, it is planned to open 203 IT Centers throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan.
