As it is already known, due to the latest news on the COVID-19 pandemic, universities, schools, etc. are quarantined in Uzbekistan. As part of this situation, we realize how important it is to receive distance learning, improve our skills and continue our activities online to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Therefore, IT-Park together with the Venture Investment Association of Uzbekistan (VIAUz), “UniversalBank” and the “Centil Law” venture partner announce the launch of the weekly open online pitching project (presentations to investors).

Within the project scope, startup founders can pitch their project in open online format to local and foreign venture investors, representatives of venture funds, and business angels.

This project will allow for startup founders:

to get pricing and feedback from investors

to attract investment, mentors and partners for cooperation.

The following VIAUz members will go as an investor in the program: Astron, Sturgeon Capital, RB Asia, Altergate, Yellow Rocket venture funds, plus a club of individual venture investors and numerous business angels.

Investment Strategy:

Investment fields:  all areas from EduTech, MedTech, SciTech to GameDev.

Average bill - depending on the stage of development, ranging from 15K USD (equivalent)

The investment format is related to the collective investment (co-investment) and others.

Share in the project - depends on the development stage, up to 30%.

The project development stage is the pre-seed one (pre-seed) and higher.

Terms of participation:

Participation in the project is free and open to all people.

Applications are accepted from startup teams from all regions of Uzbekistan.

Pitch sessions will be settled in an open format on the ZOOM platform (you must install the application on a PC and / or smartphone), with further uploading to Youtube.

Presentation time 5 minutes + 10 minutes for Q/A session.

The best pre-qualified startups will be invited to closed online pitch sessions to hold further negotiations with investors.

The first open online session will be on Monday, March 23, 2020, at 15:00, wherein the following startups will go on pitch:
