IT Park hosted a meeting of startups and representatives of the startup ecosystem with Olimjon Umarov and Oleg Pekos.

On June 17, 2020, IT Park hosted a meeting of leading entrepreneurs and IT specialists of Uzbekistan with an adviser to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, the head of the department for the development of IT technologies, Olimjon Umarov and the first deputy minister for the development of information technologies and communications on digital economy and electronic government Oleg Pekos.

The main aim of the meeting was to discuss issues and problem sectors of startups and the startup ecosystem, as well as to find potential solutions to them in order to develop the IT-sphere in Uzbekistan.

The startups participating in the meeting:

• clobus.net. The project is engaged in a cloud-based CRM system for company management.

• Verifix company, GreenWhitesolutions, which is engaged in a system of accounting for working hours, personnel management and security of the company and its employees, as well as monitoring visitors in retail outlets

• MedPlus.Can help in finding good doctors near the house and in getting discounts on appointments using the service

• Prep.uz. A web platform where professionals provide video courses for students at fairly low prices.

• BILLZ. The company helps outlets reach maximum efficiency, saving a lot of time and money, using technologies to simplify daily processes, as well as tools for customer management and smart analytics, which help to always stay on top.

• Fastago. Service for automation of interaction between retailers and suppliers. The API allows you to make delivery cheap, simple, and transparent, giving them access to a network of delivery providers.

Following the meeting, problematic issues of residents and startups of IT Park were discussed, as well as a direction vector that was identified for solving these problems and improving the quality of the IT sector in the country.

Such meetings play a vital role in the development of the startup ecosystem in Uzbekistan and allow entrepreneurs, both beginners and more experienced, to effectively solve their problems.
