IT Park hosted a meeting on Digital CASA project

[December 4, 2019] IT Park hosted another meeting on the Digital Central Asia - South Asia (Digital CASA) project, where representatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank and IT Park have attended.

A presentation related to IT Park activities, as well as startup projects and residents was performed at the meeting. The development of IT centers in the regions of Uzbekistan was discussed to increase interest in IT specializations among the population.

An equally important topic for discussion was the need to attract the female part of the population in the IT sector. It was noted that the proportion of women in the IT sector of Uzbekistan is still not large and in order to increase it, it is necessary to focus on creating more opportunities.

Following the meeting, both parties agreed on the extension of further cooperation.
