IT Park hosts a youth hackathon in collaboration with Cambridge International University and ‘Millat Umidi’ Foundation’s support. The event takes place on June 3–5 as part of the Cambridge Coding Festival among 16-20 year olds.
Contestants are given 72 hours (hackathon envisages a limited timeframe in which participants should create a product prototype or startup project) to develop an MVP for an IT solution.
Hackathon with 100 000 000 UZS prize fund received over 350 applications across the country, each one uniting in teams of 3-5 people.
The contest enables young professionals to obtain mentoring support, work on their presenting skills and develop startup projects. Furthermore, this is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, boost networking skills, and in the future, possibly get an internship or become part of an IT company.
