IT Park resident presented plans to increase exports

The office of the new resident of IT Park, VEON AdTech, hosted a presentation of high technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency of advertising companies through the use of artificial intelligence and Big Data, as well as increasing the export of complex services and products from UzbeUzbekistan.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, CEO of VEON AdTech George Held and other representatives of organizations.

VEON AdTech headquarters was opened in Tashkent last month: VEON established a specialized AdTech company, wholly owned by the VEON Group, which will provide digital marketing services and help the Groupʼs companies effectively use advertising opportunities in local and international markets.

As noted at the meeting, with the support of VEON and Beeline Uzbekistan, a number of projects aimed at developing IT specialization have been implemented in the country. At the same time, Minister Sherzod Shermatov stressed that cooperation in the field of training IT-specialists and the development of high technologies is very important.

Over the next five years, VEON plans to increase investment in vocational education and training of IT specialists in the country.

During the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between VEON AdTech and the E-Government Project Management Center.
