IT Park signs a memorandum with the State Unitary Enterprise “Smart City” under the executive body of state power in the city of Dushanbe

There was held a meeting in IT Park between the management of the organization and the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) “Smart City” under the executive body of state power in the city of Dushanbe.

The Director of IT Park Farkhod Ibragimov, the Deputy Director of IT Park Bokhodir Ayupov and the Head of the State Unitary Enterprise “Smart City” Samadzod Sadiy, the Specialist of the International Relations Department of State Unitary Enterprise “Smart City” Zafar Amonov, Lawyer and HR Specialist Norov Ulugbek and Deputy Director on technical issues Mansurov Bakhrom attended the meeting.

It is worth noting that it was the second and final visit of the Tajik delegation to IT Park after its first visit on June 30 and several meetings with various government agencies and IT companies in Tashkent.

During the meeting, the Director of the SUE “Smart City” Samadzod Sadiy noted that the meeting with IT Park for them is the highest priority within the framework of their visit, as the Mayor of Dushanbe city Rustam Emomali aims to create a special economic zone for IT companies of Tajikistan and, to this end, to adopt the model of organization and development of IT Park in Uzbekistan.

Besides, the delegation was able to participate in the presentation about IT Park activities. Having discussed in detail every activity of IT Park, the Tajik delegation was invited to start joint work with the expert assistance of IT Park for the SUE “Smart City” in launching a similar organization in Dushanbe, as well as to cooperate in the framework of IT Park’s educational program “One Million Uzbek Coders”.

At the end of the meeting, the parties signed the Memorandum of Cooperation, during which both parties noted the importance of the stated cooperation and their commitment to the priorities of the leaders of both countries so as to strengthen the level of trade and economic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.
