If you have nothing to do in quarantine time, then it is a great opportunity to attend the online webinar that we hold for everyone.

The upcoming webinar is intended for all people. The lecture will be useful in point of digital skills training and interaction with financial institutions.

Despite the fact that most financial institutions are moving towards a cash-free environment, the population is still not sure about whether to accept such means or keep sticking to cash. People are worried about whether using digital means will lead to increased convenience and tangible benefits, or get to additional costs and unknown security risks.

Along the webinar, the following aspects of digital financial literacy to be discussed:

Difficulties in promoting electronic and digital financial services (EDFS);

Benefits of using EDFS;

Differences between various products and channels of EDFS.

Webinar speakers are:

Checheybaeva Diana - a consultant to the IFC Electronic and Digital Financial Services Project in Azerbaijan and Central Asia. Diana has been working World Bank Group for the past 5 years. Actively engaged in a project to develop financial infrastructure and a credit reporting system in Azerbaijan and Central Asia, and since 2019 joined the project team on digital financial services. Before to IFC, Diana was busy at the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. She’s got a master's degree in economics from A. Mickiewicz State University (Poland, Poznan).

Ulan Aitakunov - a consultant to the IFC Electronic and Digital Financial Services Project in Azerbaijan and Central Asia. Ulan has been working in the system of the World Bank Group since 2018. He’s got well experience in the banking sector, was the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, a member of the Board of Directors in one of the commercial banks in Kyrgyzstan. In 2011-2012, he worked as a consultant to the EBRD project on financial inclusion in the CIS countries. Plus, Ulan has operational experience in a special law enforcement agency to combat economic crime, and has led several private companies to ensure economic and corporate security.

The webinar will be held online through the Zoom web application.
