As part of efforts to promote Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem on the international stage, a meeting was held between a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Anvar Rizaev, Head of the Digital Economy Development Department at the Ministry of Digital Technologies, and Elyor Maksudov, Director of Startup and Investment Development at IT Park Uzbekistan, and the British company Launchese, led by CEO Uygar Turantekin. The parties discussed strategic partnership in three pivotal domains: facilitating the expansion of Uzbek startups into the markets of the UK and the US, attracting international startups and mentors to Uzbekistan, and startup acceleration and incubation.
Launchese is a platform that provides non-UK residents with a full range of services for launching and scaling online businesses in the United Kingdom and the United States. The company assists with business registration, bank account setup, taxation, legal support, and training, while also fostering an extensive global community of mentors, entrepreneurs, and experts.
Key Agreements
Entry of Uzbek startups into the UK and US markets. Launchese has substantial experience in guiding entrepreneurs through the process of entering foreign markets and is prepared to share this expertise with Uzbek startup teams.
Attracting international startups, mentors, and trainers from the Launchese network to Uzbekistan. The parties discussed potential collaborations involving mutual events, educational programs, and mentorship initiatives to further strengthen the local ecosystem.
Acceleration, incubation, and tracking of Uzbek startups. Launchese expressed readiness to explore the creation of joint programs to support and develop startups at an international level.
During the meeting, IT Park representatives delivered a comprehensive presentation on Uzbekistan’s burgeoning startup ecosystem, highlighting available tax incentives, infrastructure and institutional opportunities, as well as the conditions for obtaining IT Park membership.
Special attention was given to the Enterprise Uzbekistan project — the International Digital Technology Center — which involves the creation of a special zone with a tailored legal framework incorporating elements of English law. The initiative generated significant interest from Launchese as a potential entry point for international companies seeking to establish a presence in Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, the company was invited to participate in two key upcoming events: a joint forum organized with the United Nations in June 2025 and the GBS Forum in July, both of which will serve as platforms for deepening partnerships and expanding international collaboration.
The partnership with Launchese opens new avenues for the development of Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem and represents a step toward integrating local ventures into global markets. IT Park remains committed to building bridges between domestic startups and international experts, accelerators, and investors.
