IT Park Uzbekistan and Palo Alto Networks strengthen collaboration

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director, held a meeting with a delegation from Palo Alto Networks, headed by Kurshad Demiray, Head of Sales for Central Asia. The parties discussed potential models of partnership and agreed to further develop cooperation with companies within the IT Park ecosystem — focusing on the customization and support of Palo Alto Networks solutions, as well as exploring prospects for BPO and reseller models originating from Uzbekistan.

Palo Alto Networks is among the world’s leading cybersecurity companies. Established in 2005 and headquartered in Santa Clara, USA, the company employs over 14,000 professionals and reports annual revenues exceeding $7.5 billion. Operating more than 80 offices worldwide, including in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, Palo Alto Networks provides solutions for securing networks, cloud environments, and endpoints.

During the discussions, IT Park outlined conditions for international partners, including zero tax obligations for member companies, access to free office spaces, IT visas, and availability of multilingual talent. The parties also reviewed Uzbekistan’s strategic priorities, highlighting the potential application of industry-leading solutions for the protection of government cloud services and digital infrastructure, as well as the demand for the training and upskilling of local engineers.

The discussion further encompassed the role of Uzbek companies in supporting and adapting Palo Alto Networks solutions, alongside potential collaboration models involving outsourcing, development, and promotion of the company’s solutions within CIS markets.

Moreover, Palo Alto Networks expressed interest in exploring the establishment of its CIS regional headquarters in Uzbekistan, enabling the company to export products and provide services across the region.

This partnership with Palo Alto Networks reinforces IT Park’s position as the gateway for global technology companies entering the Uzbek market, expands opportunities within the local services market, and accelerates the realization of the “Digital Uzbekistan — 2030” objectives through knowledge transfer, workforce development, and the creation of new employment opportunities in the ICT sector.
