One Million Uzbek Coders will celebrate its anniversary!

On December 16, 2020, the “One Million Uzbek Coders” project will celebrate its anniversary online.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, the Minister of Government Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Gergawi, the Deputy Director of the Dubai Future Foundation Abdulaziz Al-Jaziri, the Deputy Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rustam Karimjonov and others will attend the event.

 

During the event, fascinating and motivating success stories of the participants of the “One Million Uzbek Coders” project await you, each of which will tell and show his story of taking courses on the uzbekcoders.uz platform. Furthermore, you will get the chance to see how the winners of three contests organized by IT Park in collaboration with the Dubai Future Foundation will receive their cash prizes. The total prize fund for all three contests consists of $100,000.

On this day, the winners of the following competitions will be announced:

1. IT Park Cup

- IT Park Cup is the first online sports programming championship with a prize fund of $30,000.

 

2. Students Cup

- Students Cup is a competition for students of 8 universities in Tashkent with a prize fund of $30,000. The competition is organized with the aim of developing entrepreneurship and a startup ecosystem among students.

 

3. Open Data Challenge 2020

 

The Open Data Challenge 2020 hackathon is an annual competition with a prize fund of $40,000, aimed at the development of open data in information technology, entrepreneurship and the economy of Uzbekistan.

 

Moreover, during this event there will be a panel discussion in which participants will be able to ask all their questions regarding the education and the “One Million Uzbek Coders” project to the Deputy Director of the Dubai Future Foundation Abdulaziz Al-Jaziri, as well as the Deputy Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rustam Karimjonov.
