Results of the visit to India: signing of memorandums, presentation of the potential of the Bukhara region and IT Park programs

On November 7th, at Acharya University in Bangalore, a business session “Investor Meeting 2023” took place. During the event, a delegation from Uzbekistan led by the khokim of the Bukhara region  Botir Zaripov presented opportunities for IT outsourcing in the country and, in particular, the Bukhara region.

More than 40 representatives of Indian companies participated in the session, and bilateral B2B meetings were conducted with approximately 30 companies.

Following the meetings, 19 memorandums of understanding were signed between companies from the Bukhara region and India in the fields of IT, pharmaceuticals, and technology. Among them are companies such as Aishan Technologies India, Mobtions, Gallive Infotech, Mverve, Rug-rel Components and Systems, Sri Tulasitech, Technohub Software Solutions, Valuable Consulting and Technologies, VMC Technologies, and Zero Zilla Infotech.

Additionally, the IT Park delegation presented initiatives and benefits offered to IT and BPO companies. The “Zero Risk” and “All In One” programs generated significant interest among the audience in the IT and BPO sectors among the event participants.

As part of the business trip, B2B meetings were held with representatives of companies such as Intel and IBM. Discussions also took place regarding projects in the field of education and skills enhancement for students and professionals according to the standards of these companies in the Bukhara region.

Negotiations also took place with representatives of  a large  international company in the field of IT and BPO - Capgemini. They expressed interest in tax incentives, IT Visa, and support programs offered by IT Park to foreign companies.
