Team University hosted the opening of the Global Entrepreneurship Week "GEW 2020".

On November 23, 2020 Team University hosted the opening ceremony of the GEW 2020 Global Entrepreneurship Week, within the framework of which will be conducted webinars from 23 to 28 November, 2020 on the topic “Entrepreneurship Education - from idea to implementation”.
It is the fourth time this big event has been held in Uzbekistan and it always attracts attention of partner organizations, public officials, educational institutions and business associations.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week is held under the auspices the Global Entrepreneurship Network, an international organization headquartered in Washington D.C., USA and is operated simultaneously in 180 countries.

TEAM University is the main platform for GEW Uzbekistan 2020. The partners of TEAM University are IT Park, the Youth Union, GEN UZ and Ground Zero.

For the first time in the history, the main events of the week will be held online due to the pandemic. During the week, more than 20 trainings, webinars, presentations will be conducted by experts from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, India, Israel, USA, Great Britain, Germany and other countries. Experts will share their experience in creating and promoting startups and also give useful advice to students on how to form business ideas and monetize them. 

Besides, the sessions on the strategic development of higher education will be organized with the involvement of ministries, university rectors, as well as international organizations.

It is also worth noting that a poll has been launched on the IT Park Telegram channel, with the help of which you can vote for one of the Uzbek startups that received investments. Based on the poll results, only one winner with the most votes will be selected.
