The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On measures to support activities for training qualified specialists in the field of IT services export”

In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 1, 2024, No. RP-51 “On measures to support activities for training qualified specialists in the field of digitization”, as well as to organize efforts to support non-governmental educational organizations engaged in preparing youth for in-demand modern professions in the field of IT services export, the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted resolution No.86 “On measures to support activities for training qualified specialists in the field of IT services export”.

Paragraph 1 of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 1, 2024, stipulates the implementation of a program providing for a one-time allocation of subsidies to non-governmental educational organizations in the amount of up to 75 times the base calculation value when employing a graduate in an IT service-exporting organization, and in the case of employing a young graduate with disabilities in such an organization — up to 105 times the base calculation value.

Within the program, subsidies are allocated to non-governmental educational organizations when all of the following criteria are met:
– The organization must have IT Park resident status;
– More than six months have passed since obtaining resident status as an IT service exporting organization, where the graduate is employed;
– The graduate has undergone training in a non-governmental educational organization in fields approved by the Ministry of Digital Technologies, which are in high demand in the IT services export sector;
– The graduate has been continuously employed for more than six months in an organization exporting IT services;
– The graduate must be employed in exporting organizations within three months after completing the training;
– The annual volume of export services of the company where the graduate is employed must not be less than the total annual salary paid to employees.

In accordance with the resolution, an administrative regulation has also been established for the provision of government services regarding the allocation of one-time subsidies to non-governmental educational organizations within the “IT Talents” program.
