The future location of the branch of IT Park in Navoi is being determined!

On June 15, 2020, the IT Park delegation, together with the head of the national content development department on the Internet of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan, met with the governor of Navoi region, Kabul Tursunov, at which a number of questions on the future activities of IT Park in Navoi were discussed.

First of all, the parties discussed the concept of creating an IT Park branch in the Navoi region, discussed possible sources of financing and an action plan for working with youth.

Furthermore, a plan for the export of IT services from Uzbekistan was considered at the meeting, in which graduates of IT centers would play a key role.

We would like to remind that IT Centers were created to train highly qualified personnel / IT specialists who, after training, will be able to work for outsourcing and provide their services to foreign companies.

The project "One Million Uzbek Coders" was also highlighted, which would soon be introduced into the school curriculum.

Thanks to the IT Center, students in grades 7-11 of comprehensive schools, as well as young people interested in the IT field, after completing training can be employed not only in the IT Park branch in Navoi, but also in the company of IT Park residents.

At the end of the meeting, the parties considered the locations for the construction of the IT Park branch, visited the resident of IT Park, the Sensorika company, as well as the IT Center.

It is worth adding that by the end of 2021 it is planned to open 188 IT-centers throughout the Republic.
