IT Park Uzbekistan and the German company Askania Future GmbH have engaged in discussions regarding joint initiatives focused on the training and subsequent employment of graduates who are proficient in the German language and possess internationally recognized certifications. A project is already underway in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, which includes the establishment of training centers across the country and the introduction of a dual education system similar to Germany’s Ausbildung model.
Why Is This Important?
Askania Future GmbH specializes in facilitating the employment of trainees from Central Asia, particularly Uzbekistan, in Germany. The company’s mission is to recruit skilled personnel for European markets. Within Uzbekistan, its key partner is the Profi Deutsch training center, which has already enhanced the qualifications of 57 educators through training programs held in Germany.
The BPO sector currently experiences a significant shortage of specialists fluent in German at the C1 level. The implementation of educational initiatives in Uzbekistan represents a critical step towards addressing this gap. These efforts will create new employment opportunities and enable individuals to earn competitive salaries starting at $800 per month, without the necessity of relocating abroad.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the launch of training programs by Askania Future GmbH designed to teach the German language up to the C1 proficiency level, ensuring accessibility across all regions of Uzbekistan. The programs will also include advanced courses in computer literacy. Furthermore, IT Park will provide comprehensive support to program graduates, integrating them into a database of qualified candidates eligible for employment with international companies in the BPO sector.
Ingo Jung, CEO of Askania Future GmbH, emphasized the company’s ongoing search for opportunities to collaborate with dynamically developing nations such as Uzbekistan. He highlighted that the country’s demographic advantages, including a youthful and industrious population, position it as an ideal partner for Askania’s initiatives.
“We are confident that by introducing these educational programs and implementing international certification standards, we will prepare specialists who are highly sought after in the global market,” remarked Mr. Jung.
Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, underscored the country’s emergence as a premier IT hub for foreign ITES companies seeking to expand their operations. Uzbekistan’s substantial human resource potential and high levels of professional training provide the nation with significant competitive advantages. She further noted that improving foreign language proficiency among specialists will solidify these advantages, making Uzbekistan an even more attractive destination for international companies.
“Collaboration with Askania Future opens up considerable opportunities for both our partners and Uzbekistan. Proficiency in foreign languages, particularly German, significantly enhances the international competitiveness of young specialists. This enables our citizens to secure high-paying positions in international ITES companies while remaining in their home country,” stated Ms. Muksinova.
Mr. Jung added that Askania Future GmbH is actively pursuing the digitalization of educational processes, leveraging artificial intelligence to make training more efficient and accessible to a broader audience. Graduates of the program will receive internationally recognized certificates, affirming their qualifications and expertise.
