The hackathon for youth “Hack4Region” has ended

On April 28-29, the hackathon “Hack4Region” for young people who are interested in startups was held in Kashkadarya region. 

The event was organized by IT Park together with the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Khokimiyat of Kashkadarya region and universities in the region.

Hack4Region – a hackathon in which participants are given 2 days to develop a product that solves a specific problem in society. 

Specially invited experts and mentors helped the participants by demonstrating the efficient and fast implementation of the project prototype.

As a result of the hackathon, the participants presented their ideas to the public and the jury.  In total, 174 applications were submitted for participation in the competition.

The following teams became winners and owners of valuable prizes:

1st place – the team “Virtual oʻsimlik” (project for diagnostics of agricultural crops and monitoring of disease prognosis based on abiotic and biotic factors based on the analysis of DNA-tests. Determining the presence of genetically modified ingredients in food products);

2nd place – the team “Feniks” (a project designed for applicants and students. The goal is to combine training centers on one platform through which students can get a complete picture of the training centers (address, class schedule, rating, short videos from classes, prices for  courses, brief information about teachers, etc.));

3rd place – the team “Intellekt UZ” (the project provides an opportunity for gifted students to cooperate with a supervisor. This will make it easier to choose a scientific direction, as well as save time and even eradicate corruption).
