The winners of the "Open Data Challenge 2020" talk with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

As you remember, on January 21, 2021, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the IT Park branch in Bukhara, where he talked with local youth and got acquainted with the projects of some of them.

This youth also included two teams that won the Open Data Challenge 2020 hackathon. The representatives spoke to the President and presented their projects.

"PhalconDevs"

- The team took 1st place in the business sector with their project Aptechka 24, an online service for finding and buying medicines, and won a prize of $ 6,000.

"XOR_Progger"

- The team took 3rd place in the category of schoolchildren with a platform that allows you to find out the prices of products pegged to foreign currency.

These IT solutions, developed during the three days of the Hackathon as part of the Open Data Challenge 2020, were presented to the President on the day of his visit to the IT Park branch in Bukhara.

It is worth noting that the President highly appreciated the potential of the Bukhara youth and stressed the importance of the IT sphere for the development of our country.

Recall that the hackathon within the framework of the Open Data Challenge 2020 hackathon is an annual competition aimed at developing open data in information technology, entrepreneurship and the economy of Uzbekistan. The competition is to develop applications using open data
