Uzbek–Korean BPO Forum to be held in Tashkent within ICT Week

On September 25, 2025, Tashkent will host the Uzbek–Korean BPO Forum as part of ICT Week. The forum will bring together more than 130 participants and serve as a key platform for showcasing Korean companies, exchanging expertise, and the strengthening partnerships between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. 

The Uzbek–Korean BPO Forum is a unique platform organized in collaboration with KOICA, Gyeongbuk Technopark, KTPA, and IT Park Uzbekistan. The program will feature presentations by Korean companies, discussions on best practices, and exploration of new opportunities for long-term cooperation in outsourcing and digital services.

For Uzbekistan, the forum represents an important step in promoting the national industry within the South Korean market. It will provide a platform to highlight the Uzbekistan’s human capital, infrastructure potential, and successful case studies, while also facilitating the conclusion of new cooperation agreements. Among the forum’s key objectives are the establishment of new B2B contracts and the consolidation of Uzbekistan’s position as a reliable outsourcing partner.  

Program

  • 09:30–10:00 — Registration.
  • 10:00–10:05 — Opening remarks and introduction of participants.
  • 10:05–10:10 — Welcome address by a representative of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
  • 10:10–10:15 — Welcome address by H.E. Mr. Won Do Yeon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea.
  • 10:15–10:25 — Presentation of a certificate of appreciation.
  • 10:25–10:35 — Keynote: “Uzbekistan — Korea’s outsourcing partner: Talent, Infrastructure, Opportunity”. Speaker: Nodirbek Berdikobilov, Senior Manager, Department for the Development of IT Services Export to Asian Countries.
  • 10:35–10:45 — Presentation: “A Case of Confidence: Why AJIN Outsources to Uzbekistan?”
  • 10:45–10:55 — Presentation: “Creative Outsourcing in Action: VERYWORDS’ Pilot in Uzbekistan”
  • 10:55–11:05 — Presentation: “From Care to Code: SIHA and Uzbekistan in HealthTech”
  • 11:05–11:15 — Signing of new partnership agreements.
  • 11:15–11:20 — Group photo.
  • 11:20–11:50 — Coffee break, networking, and video presentations of Korean companies’ projects and the potential of Uzbek IT companies.
  • 12:00–13:50 — B2B matching session.
  • 13:50–14:00 — Closing remarks.
