Projects of IT Park residents to be implemented as part of the Digital Tashkent program

On March 17, 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On measures for the widespread adoption of digital technologies in the city of Tashkent”, which was subsequently approved the comprehensive program “Digital Tashkent”.

The main objective of the program is the management of city services, the creation of an integrated information environment for social facilities, industrial, road transport and communal infrastructure with the subsequent dissemination of successful experience to other regions of the nation.

The following projects are planned to be implemented in 2020-2021 as part of the program:

1. KIS "E-Health" - a single medical record, an electronic clinic, a system for recording birth and death, an electronic hospital, a single medical care, an electronic prescription;

2. KIS “Education” - an electronic kindergarten, an electronic diary, an electronic Olympiad, a system for monitoring the attendance of students of educational institutions, a distance learning system;

3. KIS “Kommunal” - home, “house communal system”, a system for accounting for thermal energy and hot water, a system for accounting for the consumption of natural gas and electric energy;

4. KIS “Geoportal of Tashkent” - a geographic information-analytical system and a geoportal, a digital map, a water supply system and sewage facilities, a geosystem of an urban cadaster;

5. KIS "Construction" - monitoring system, electronic ticket, payment system, register of parking lots;

6. KIS “Electronic administration” - “people's control”, asset management, management of architecture and construction objects, “makhalla” system, address registration;

7. KIS "Ecology" - air control system;

8. KIS "Trade and Tourism" - a system of price control in the markets, "e — Mekhmon".

Meanwhile, the President and the Prime Minister noted the priority of the project’s facilitation by local developers, in particular, residents of IT Park. For these purposes, a special mechanism is being introduced through what IT Park residents can be involved in the implementation of the program by holding a competition among residents to conclude an agreement with the Digital Development Department to be created, according to the resolution, on projects in the amount of up to 1 billion UZS, and in amounts above 1 billion in the manner prescribed by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On State Procurement”.

Heads of interested resident companies are invited to meet with the director of IT Park on March 24 (Tuesday) to discuss future prospects and receive answers to questions of interest to residents.

At the same time, interested residents must enter the following information about their project:

1. Name of the project;

2. A project’s brief description;

3. Within which KIS scope and its components, the project accomplishment is proposed;

4. The degree of readiness for accomplishment (the system is done, at the development stage or the resident is ready to develop it);

5. The cost of the project;

6. A way of project monetization.
