The story of Sukhrob Khaydarov from Navoi region impresses with numerous victories and achievements.
Sukhrob is 18 years old and now lives in Tashkent. He began to show interest in the IT field at the age of 14-15. According to the hero’s recollections, the inspiration was a promotional video that talked about opportunities, career growth and industry prospects. Then he decided: since IT is the profession of the future and you can earn good money in this industry, then you need to go there.
“I took my first steps in the field in 2018. It can be said that I immediately understood: IT is my life, and I am happy that I made the right choice in choosing my vocation”.
From the very beginning, Sukhrob showed an interest in robotics, but it was not easy to find a mentor in this area, so he decided to master the direction on his own thanks to various online platforms.
“Then there were other difficulties that we had to overcome. For example, there were problems with spare parts and details. We ordered them from other countries and sometimes had to wait up to 90 days for them to reach us in one piece.”
Fortunately, these difficulties have remained only in the memories, and now there are shops where you can buy parts, training centers where they teach this direction and mentors who teach it.
One of these teachers is now working Sukhrob – he is a mentor in robotics at Tashkent branch of IT Park. He writes programs for autonomous and teleporting robots.
“For all my teaching activity, and I have been teaching since the age of 16, I already have more than 300-400 students. I love teaching both children and adults. My students are people from 7 to 30 years old. They study electronics, programming, design, and so on”.
Sukhrob is a 6-time winner of international competitions in robotics. Among his victories: Robofest Russia (3rd place), Robobrain Serbia (2nd place), Youth Techno Art Tashkent (1st place), Roboday Bulgaria online (1st place), Kazrobofest online (1st place), WRO Hungary-Asian (1st place), World skills (3rd place).
On October 12, the city of Bordeaux, France, will host the 46th WorldSkills International Championship, where IT Park team will take part – the national team of Uzbekistan, which includes Sukhrob.
Love for his work, hard work and courage to overcome difficulties have borne fruit: today Sukhrob earns more than $1,000 a month. Despite his young age, our hero proves that nothing is impossible if desired.
