13-year old IT Center student earns $300-400 a month

On February 6, 2021, a meeting was held with the participation of Fergana youth and the delegation headed by the Minister of Development of Information Technologies and Communications Shukhrat Sadikov.



Besides, IT Park Director Farkhod Ibragimov, the Rector of Amity University in Tashkent Bobur Abdullayev and the Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Jalolov as well as others attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the activities and conditions of the branch. Furthermore, they had a chance to communicate with the youth and one of the teachers of the IT Center Ilkhomjon Boltaboev, who contributed to the training of over 200 youth in four areas within the framework of the project One Million Uzbek Coders. Ilkhomjon has been programming for seven years.

“There are many young people who want to study at IT Center. School teachers are also upgrading their skills in the sphere information technology at this IT Center. We are glad to see the results of our work,” said Ilkhomjon.

One of Ilkhomjon’s desciples is Mustafa Mukhammadov who is at the age of 13. Currently, Mustafa is studying in the seventh grade of number 246 school in Tashkent. He is interested in graphic design and has shown great results in this sphere.

Mustafa’s father says that his son is keen on graphic design and programming.

“During the quarantine, I got to know more about my interests in the IT sphere. My friends offered me a job. In my spare time, I animated already completed design,” said Mustafa.

Remarkably, at a current time 13-year-old Mustafa earns $300-400 a month.
It should be noted that despite the fact that the IT Center in Margilan has been operating only for 7 months, to date, it helped 350 young people get knowledge information technology sphere at this IT Center. Moreover, 10 projects by the specialists of IT Park branch, and in the framework of the project «Digital Uzbekistan 2030»  4 projects have been implemented which in turn, brought profit in the amount of 350 000 000 soums to the center.
